TERMS AND POLICIES

PREP & AFTERCARE: Please read the PRE/POST CARE.

PAYMENT: Full payment is expected at your appointment. 5% discount for cash or Zelle payments! Accepted payment types: Debit/Credit, ApplePay, Venmo. I do not accept checks. Tips are not expected but always appreciated.

RESCHEDULING: You may reschedule your appointment via the confirmation text/email you receive, up to 24 hours prior to your appointment. You are allowed to reschedule only once.

CANCELLATIONS: I kindly ask if you are not going to make your appointment, please extend me the courtesy of calling, texting or emailing to let me know as soon as possible.

PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME: Please be courteous of others and be on time for your scheduled appointment. I understand unforeseen circumstances can happen, however it is important to allow enough time to properly perform each service. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will need to reschedule.

LATE POLICY: Due to my tightly packed schedule, I ask that you arrive on time. If you arrive to your appointment more than 15 minutes late, you will be considered a "no show" and result in a forfeiture of your deposit. Please take into account traffic times and weather conditions when driving to your appointment.

SHAPING YOUR BROWS: To ensure you are satisfied with the service, I will carefully map out the shape of your eyebrows according to you unique facial features and bone structure before starting the procedure. You will have the opportunity to review and make any changes at this time. I will not be liable for any changes after you leave the studio.

PHOTOS & VIDEOS: Photos/Videos will be taken before and after as required by my insurance and may be posted on my social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Website, etc for marketing/advertising purposes. You may opt out of published photos.

THIS IS "TYPICALLY" A TWO-STEP PROCESS: Just like any tattoo, semi-permanent eyebrows are a multiple step process; Initial plus a Perfection Session, 6-10 weeks apart. Within a week of your initial session the color will fade drastically in shade and size. On average, you can expect to lose 40% of the color intensity and lose 15-20% of the strokes. While some clients may accept the pigment and heal beautifully without a touch-up, most clients are required to come back for a second session. On some occasions, a third session may be needed to achieve the desired look.

BOOKING YOUR PERFECTION SESSION: We will book this together at your first session.

HEALED RESULTS: Results are NOT guaranteed and will vary with each individual client. A third session, at additional costs, may be needed to achieve desired results. Factors such as: age, skin quality, skin type, lifestyle, diet, skincare, post and aftercare, medication, tattoo removal/cover-ups, etc. will affect the results. It is imperative to know that more than one session may be required.

NO REFUNDS: Due to the nature of these services, I cannot guarantee individual results. Therefore, no refunds will be issued as the service has been completed.

If You Have Existing Brow Tattoos
Coverups and color corrections are possible in some cases. It can be a great solution, however not all previous work can be fixed or covered. Previous work can be very complicated, time consuming and results are NOT guaranteed. I will usually recommend removing the old pigment if the brows are too saturated or too dark. If the old pigment is not at least 80% faded I cannot microblade on your skin. Soft Prowder Brow will be the only way to color correct and cover old work.
The average eyebrow tattoo cover-up/correction usually requires two or more sessions (6-10 weeks apart). Most corrections require client's patience and dedication. Due to the amount of time and work needed to repair permanent makeup tattoo, the cost and number of sessions cannot be predetermined.
If you have any previous work done by another artist, you MUST get my approval before booking. Please send three (3) clear photos of your full face and eyebrows with no makeup on them, unfiltered, and in natural lighting to: christina@goldeneyestudio.com or text them to (916)301-3740 for review.

Skin irritations, rashes, sunburn, moles, Eczema or Psoriasis near the eyebrow area

Prone to Keloid scarring

Viral infections/diseases

Hemophilia

Epilepsy or seizures

Pacemaker or major heart complications

Received Botox or fillers 2 weeks prior to their appointment date

Undergoing Chemotherapy

Used Accutane within the last 12 months

Currently taking Armor Thyroid medication

Please notify us if you have had any allergic reactions to topical anesthetics.
Frequently Asked Questions
ALL YEARLY TOUCH-UPS MUST BE REVIEWED
Fading is expected and normal. We must allow some pigment to fade to out of the skin to keep the color looking true. If too much color is packed into the skin the strokes can blur and the color can shift grey-blue. Many clients have been sent home because a touch-up is NOT yet needed. This wastes both of our time, especially of you are traveling very far for your session.

Currently, the booking system will only allow booking up to 4 months in advance. Fridays and Saturdays usually get scheduled first. If you no longer see availability, I am fully booked. I do not have a cancellation or waiting list.
